In such a system a pressure sensing wire is run around the boundary wall on the inside around one ft" under the earth. Whenever some one jumps over the boundary wall, the pressure waves so produced, are sensed by the pressure sensing wire and the alarm is activated. Normally the sensing wire is sensitive enough to even sense walking of a person close to the wire.
